Since that time, Skidrive has continued to grow, becoming one of the UK's largest independent suppliers of roof bars, cycle carriers, roof boxes and other related products.

In the late 1990s, as our parent company continued to operate an increasingly successful specialist retail and installation company within the car audio market, it quickly became apparent that this market was shifting towards distribution by internet mail order. Quickly siezing upon this opportunity, In-Car Express was established as one of the first mail order only specialists in the market.
Establishing a successful business in this market was reliant upon the ability to provide potential customers with accurate and comprehensive technical guidance. This objective was achieved by staffing the new operation with employees experienced within the company group's existing retail and installation operations. This resulted in In-Car Express being able to boast some of the most experienced staff within this industry, a firm foundation upon which the company grew and developed to become one of the leading suppliers within this market sector.

As Alroma's existing operations were based predominantly within the premium end of the market, CarRacks.co.uk was redeveloped to bring the same premium level of service to the previously neglected budget and mid range market sectors.
Where previously this market was served by "back door" selling by small car accessory shops, who often had to neglect internet orders in order to manage their existing retail operations, resulting in poor service and slow delivery, CarRacks.co.uk set about bringing dedicated telephone customer support, express delivery and unbeatable value to their customers, with 100% focus on internet mail order.

With an existing successful car audio site in our portfolio, expanding upon this was a natural progression. Having been an authorised JVC dealer for a number of years, we were aware that the brand was rapidly becoming one of the most dominant within its marketplace and especially within the youth market. We therefore established JVCcaraudio.co.uk selling solely JVC products direct via internet mail order.

We're always keen to find quality products which take an existing idea and do it better. We were therefore pleased to be able to supply CTEK chargers. CTEK's range of products includes quality, reliable chargers which can be left to correctly manage a battery's charge. Being based in the heart of Cambridgeshire's Fenland area, several of our staff own 4x4 vehicles, partly as this allows them to continue to travel to work in safety during the more extreme winter conditions which can affect our area badly and partly for recreational use on the area's wide network of public byways*.
As a result of this interest, several of our staff have developed a web site selling parts and accessories for the 4x4 and recreational off road driving market at Green-Lanes.co.uk.
*We support and employ members of Glass, the UK's Green Lane Association and advocate adherence to the Glass Code of Practice which encourages responsible byway use.
